Two Halves House was about repurposing an old cottage and adding an open plan addition, swimming pool and out-door terrace to cater for a young family. The hipped roof addition and verandah is proportioned and detailed in keeping with the original 1920’s cottage. On the sloping site, the additions are sited to capture the surrounding escarpment and to create a level play space for the kids.
